Improperly diagnosed and/or under-treated, chronic pain can cause physical, psychological, and emotional hardships that can severely alter the life of patients and their loved ones.

Dennis Yun, MD, QME
Dr. Dennis Yun trained in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University of North Carolina and Virginia Mason Medical Center, respectively. He is Board Certified in both disciplines by the American Board of Medical Specialties.
Dr. Yun continually learns and utilizes the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic techniques that can improve the lives of chronic pain patients. His special interests include spinal cord stimulation and minimally invasive injections using ultrasound guidance.
Dr. Yun holds a certification of Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME), which is determined by the Division of Worker's Compensation - Medical Unit in the state of California. This designation allows him examine injured workers and determine their disability.
Dr. Yun believes in a multi-disciplinary approach for pain diagnoses and treatment. He understands the importance of coordinating care with patients’ primary care providers and specialists. He also encourages his patients to explore complementary treatments, such as acupuncture, to improve their pain condition.
